NEW HAVEN, CT — The United States Postal Service is inviting job seekers to spring into a new career with exciting employment opportunities available now.

In New Haven, postal officials are offering applicants a chance to hear about current and upcoming positions at a State of Connecticut job fair on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

The fair will take place at the Gateway Community College (20 Church St., New Haven, CT 06510) from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The Postal Service is looking to fill immediate openings across the state for the following positions:

  • City Carrier Assistant (CCA), starting salary $21.21 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC), salary range is $21.89 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Postal Support Employee (PSE), starting salary $21.44 per hour paid bi-weekly.
  • Automotive Technician starting annual salary $66,586 paid bi-weekly
