STAMFORD, CT — Three days of job fairs in March seek to fill immediate openings for automotive technicians at the Stamford Vehicle Maintenance Facility (VMF).

Applicants can visit the VMF on March 19, 24, and 26 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 450 West Ave., Stamford, CT 06910 to get a jump start on the application.

The Postal Service employs over 4,000 vehicle maintenance technicians and operates 322 vehicle maintenance facilities and auxiliary garages.

Vehicles range from light and medium delivery vehicles, tractors, trailers, service
vehicles, and automobiles.

Automotive technicians and mechanics work in a vehicle maintenance facility noted for a clean and safe environment, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, tools, and shop equipment, and environmentally friendly materials.
