This little Post Office has seen ongoing success through the winter into spring
ANDOVER, CT — The Andover Post Office was recognized as a top performer in customer service based on Point of Sale (POS) Customer Surveys back in December 2025 and little has changed since then – they remain at number one in the USPS Connecticut District.
Right before the busiest season of the year, USPS holiday peak, Andover Post Office earned a USPS award by placing first in their office-size category for customer satisfaction within the whole of Connecticut. In a recent April report, they remain in top place.
Since the USPS fiscal year began in October, the Andover Post Office team has received an incredible 134 POS customer surveys with a 100 percent overall satisfaction score.
The U.S. Postal Service’s POS survey collects the online responses to questionnaires found on receipts from Post Office transactions. The survey measures customer satisfaction with retail staff (efficiency, courtesy, knowledge, positive attitude) and the overall experience.
In March, they were awarded with a breakfast with postal leadership including Connecticut’s USPS District Manager Josh Balcunas.
Postmaster Kristen Fitzpatrick compliments the entire team for their success. “We have a very community feel to this Post Office. Many of our customers travel out of their way to come here. We know each other by name,” she said.
“This is an incredible accomplishment and a direct result of your leadership, dedication, and the positive interactions you create every day,” said Balcunas. “Your consistency and commitment remain our biggest strengths and with your continued efforts, we will carry this success throughout the year,” he added.
