Montchanin Post Office has reopened full-service

Post office was damaged September, 2021 due to Hurricane Ida

DELAWARE -The Montchanin Post Office, located at 101 Stone Block Row, Wilmington DE 19807, reopened with full-service April 25, 2023. The office was temporarily closed since September, 2021 after suffering significant damage due to Hurricane Ida. During that time, customers were going to the Rockland Post Office for their PO Box and retail needs.

“We want to thank our loyal customers for their patience and understanding while efforts were made to restore the Post Office,” said Postmaster Blanche Olliviere. “We are excited to return to our home office to serve our deserving customers in their usual setting.”

Hours for the office are 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
