U.S. Postal Service Temporarily Suspends Loxahatchee Post Office Operations

Loxahatchee, FL — Today, the U.S. Postal Service implemented a temporary emergency suspension of the Loxahatchee Post Office, located at 14611 Southern Blvd, Loxahatchee, FL 33470, until further notice pending an assessment of facility conditions.

Retail and delivery services will be provided by the nearby Palms West Post Office, located at 10299 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. The Palms West Post Office’s retail hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Post Office is closed on Sunday.

During the temporary suspension, P.O. Box customers of the Loxahatchee Post Office may continue to pick up their P.O. Box mail at that location.

The safety and well-being of customers and employees is of the utmost importance. Currently, there is no timeline for resumption of postal operations at the Loxahatchee Post Office, but we will provide updated information as it becomes available. The U.S. Postal Service apologizes for this inconvenience to our customers.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
