Key West, FL — The U.S. Postal Service is hosting a job fair for immediate openings for City Carrier Assistant (CCA) and Postal Support Employee Sales and Services/Distribution Associate (PSE SSDA) positions in Key West, FL. USPS officials will be available to answer any job-related questions Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 24 and 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harvey Government Center, 1200 Truman Ave.

This is a temporary appointment not-to-exceed 360 days. A subsequent appointment after a five-day break in service will be subject to business needs and may lead to a career position. A CCA may be required to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. An applicant must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving a passenger car or larger.

Postal Support Employee Sales and Services/Distribution Associate (PSE SSDA) - $18.69 per hour

A Postal Support Employee Sales and Services/Distribution Associate (PSE SSDA) performs mail distribution and a variety of sales and customer support services for products. This employee maintains pleasant and effective public relations with customers and others, requiring a general familiarity with postal laws, regulations, and procedures.

This is a temporary appointment for a period not-to-exceed 360 days, with the possibility of reappointment after a five-day break. This appointment could lead to a career assignment. A PSE SSDA may be scheduled any days or hours and may include weekends and holidays as needed.
