The Postal Service is adding 28,000 job opportunities nationwide for the holiday season as part of the Postmaster General’s Delivering for America plan.

USPS is looking to fill peak season positions at these Central and Southwest Florida locations:

Holiday Clerk Assistant (HCA)
Salary $19.62 hour

An HCA performs a variety of sales and customer services at a retail window, which includes the sale of postal products and services, accepting and delivering packages and mail. They provide sales and customer support by greeting customers, helping with product selection and use of self-service kiosk. They maintain appearance of retail lobby by arranging and replenishing displays and merchandise racks and conduct product inventories. HCAs distribute and scan incoming and outgoing mail at a post office, branch or station. They load mail onto automated equipment, remove mail from bins and place into trays and containers. They may perform additional duties as assigned including but not limited to maintaining records of mail, facing and canceling mail, making emergency carrier relays, labeling and tying out mail for dispatch and other related duties for distribution.
