The guest speaker is Emergency Preparedness Specialist Edwin Lang who will talk about hurricane preparedness, including the previous hurricane season; preparations made for people, property and product; response preparations and plans; and how to fix operability and the customer base.

The meeting starts at 1:00 p.m. ET. Admission is free for members. For more information or to register to attend, please contact M.J. Cummings, marijo.cummings@usps.gov.

The history of the Postal Service’s Postal Consumer Councils dates back over six decades. Over time, the bond between business customers and the Postal Service continued to evolve throughout the country, and today, these councils, now known as Postal Customer Councils, provide a unique opportunity for any business to meet with top level managers of the Postal Service to obtain information, share ideas, address issues, grow their business and network with other business colleagues.

The Southwest Florida PCC looks forward to increasing their membership and encourages local area businesses, deeply rooted in the community, to join the PCC.
