ORLANDO, FL — The Central Florida Postal Customer Council (PCC) will host a meeting on Thursday, August 24 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Orlando Main Post Office, located at 10401 Post Office Blvd.
Guest speaker Isaac Knight of Cathedral Corp. will discuss the importance of Customer Registration IDs (aka CRIDs) and Mailer IDs (aka MIDs), within the context of full service.
The training is designed to help attendees obtain a better understanding of CRIDs and MIDs, how they help support the full-service requirements, and how mailers may obtain them. There will also be a segment on how mailers may obtain CRIDs and MIDs using online tools designed by the Postal Service for mail owners and preparers.
The event is free to attend. Please RSVP to Jenny Miller at jenny.h.miller@usps.gov or call (407) 826-3450.
The history of the Postal Service’s Postal Consumer Councils dates back over six decades. Over time, the bond between business customers and the Postal Service continued to evolve throughout the country, and today, these councils, now known as Postal Customer Councils, provide a unique opportunity for any business to meet with top level managers of the Postal Service to obtain information, share ideas, address issues, grow their business and network with other business colleagues.
The Central Florida PCC looks forward to increasing their membership and encourages local area businesses, deeply rooted in the community, to join the PCC.

The United States Postal Service is an independent federal establishment, mandated to be self-financing and to serve every American community through the affordable, reliable and secure delivery of mail and packages to 169 million addresses six and often seven days a week. Overseen by a bipartisan Board of Governors, the Postal Service is implementing a 10-year transformation plan, Delivering for America, to modernize the postal network, restore long-term financial sustainability, dramatically improve service across all mail and shipping categories, and maintain the organization as one of America’s most valued and trusted brands.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
