The Southwest FL Postal Customer Council (PCC) is extending a cordial invitation to a special stamp cancellation to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Ian. The PCC meeting will feature keynote speaker USPS Executive Director, Continuity & Preparedness Michael Swigart, who will speak about hurricane preparedness.

Background:
National Preparedness Month is an observance each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. The Southwest Florida PCC is highlighting hurricane preparedness during its September meeting.
A PCC is an organization that helps foster a close working relationship between USPS and commercial mailers and business partners with the goal of sharing information about postal products, programs, and services through an educational and collaborative environment. PCCs provide the opportunity for business mailers to network and collaborate with their colleagues in a casual setting.
