PALMETTO, FL – This weekend, the United States Postal Service will be offering a commemorative keepsake postmark, also known as a pictorial cancellation, in recognition of the 2024 Palmetto Historical Park’s Heritage Festival on Saturday March 9, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The celebration, free and open to the public, will be at the Palmetto’s Heritage Festival at Palmetto Historical Park & Manatee County Agricultural Museum, 515 10th Ave. West, Palmetto, FL 34221.

During the festival, postal officials will commemorate the city’s anniversary with a pictorial postmark available on site at no cost. Pictorial postmarks also may be obtained through the mail. For one or more postmarks, affix the minimum of a First-Class stamp to an envelope or postcard, address the envelope or postcard to yourself or to others, insert a card of postcard thickness in the envelope(s), and tuck in the flap(s). Place the envelope(s) or postcard(s) in a large envelope and mail to:
