PALM HARBOR AND SARASOTA, FL  — Summer brings boundless chances for happiness, connections, and exciting adventures. The Postal Service is providing sun-kissed opportunities as we host career fairs in Central Florida throughout the month of June. Make plans to become the newest of the more than 635,000 postal employees across the nation by attending one of the upcoming job fairs. Both Job Fairs are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Positions available: Rural Carrier Associates (RCA)

To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fairs to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Starting pay varies depending on the job. But starting pay for carriers ranges between $19 and $20 per hour, paid bi-weekly.

Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass drug screening and a background investigation. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
