International travel offers diverse experiences, whether you are looking to bask in the sun on a beach in Fiji or enjoy the refreshing crisp air while hiking Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Regardless of your destination, your passport remains an essential element of your journey. The Postal Service is hosting a passport fair in Lynn Haven on Thursday, April 10, 2025

Walk-ins are welcome on this day, so customers are encouraged to show up early, as applicants will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Postal clerks will be on hand to provide passport information and to accept passport applications, with no appointments necessary. Applicants can even have their passport photo taken at the event for $15, as passport application requires a recent color passport photograph.

  • Bring proper proof of American citizenship. This must be either a certified birth certificate issued by the city, county or state, naturalization certificate (a hospital-issued birth certificate alone is not acceptable), consular report of birth abroad, certificate of citizenship or a previous U.S. passport.
  • In addition to proof of citizenship, each applicant must bring a clear photocopy of their proof of American citizenship that will be presented at the time of document acceptance. If the document is two sided, then a photocopy of the front and back of the document must be provided.
  • Bring proof of identity. This must be either a previous U.S. passport or passport card, certificate of naturalization with identifiable photo attached, certificate of citizenship with identifiable photo attached, valid driver’s license (temporary licenses or learner’s permits are not acceptable), official U.S. military or military dependent identification card, government employee identification card (federal, state, municipal, county) or current valid foreign passport.
  • Minors under the age of 16 must appear with both parents. If one parent is not available, a notarized authorization form for the absent parent is required.

**The customer must submit a photocopy of the front and back of the Proof of Citizenship.

Passport fees for adults (16 years and older) are $130.00 payable to the U.S. State Department and a separate payment of $35 for the application fee to the Postal Service for its processing fee.

Fees for children under 16 are $100 for the Passport Book and a $35 acceptance fee. A child’s Passport Card will cost $15 with a $35 acceptance fee. A Passport Book and a Passport Card for a child is $115 plus a $35 acceptance fee.

The application must be paid by cash or check. Credit or debit cards, as well as cash or checks, may be used to cover the cost of photos and acceptance fees.

To help speed up the process, customers should fill out forms ahead of time. Application forms and information on the costs and how to apply for a passport book and/or passport card can be found at usps.com/passport or travel.state.gov/passportCustomers can also obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at (877) 487-2778.
