USPS Temporarily Suspends Colonialtown PO Operations

ORLANDO, FL --- The Florida 2 District of the U.S. Postal Service is announcing a temporary suspension of postal operations at the Colonialtown Post Office at 611 N. Mills Ave., Orlando, FL 32803. The temporary suspension, due to non-renewal of the lease, is effective immediately.

Customers may conduct retail transactions, including purchasing stamps and mailing packages, at the Herndon Post Office at 821 Herndon Ave., Orlando, FL 32803. Retail hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  The Herndon Post Office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

With proper identification, Colonialtown customers may pick up their Post Office Box mail during regular hours of operation at the Herndon Post Office. Customers with regular street delivery may pick up packages and other accountable items as well.

Delivery service is not affected and will continue uninterrupted. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
