USPS Considers Relocation of Retail Services for the San Antonio Main Post Office

45-day Comment Period Commences

SAN ANTONIO, FL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail operations formerly located at the San Antonio Main Post Office at 12231 Main St., San Antonio, FL, 33576 to a new location within a one mile radius, as close to the previous location as possible.

The Postal Service is considering relocation due to space constraints at the current facility.

The Postal Service will continue retail services in the San Antonio Post Office until the new post office is up and running.

San Antonio customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard in the mail and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal.

We are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the address shown below. Comments must be received by May 2, 2026.

After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received. Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
