USPS Seeks to Relocate Retail Operations at Green Cove Springs Post Office

Comment Period Commences

GREEN COVE SPRINGS, FL — The U.S. Postal Service is considering the potential relocation of retail operations from the Green Cove Springs, FL Main Office located at 500 Palmer Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 to a new, yet-to-be determined location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing Post Office location. The Postal Service is considering relocation due to space constraints at the current facility.

The Postal Service will continue retail services at the Green Cove Springs Post Office until the new post office is up and running.

Green Cove Springs Post Office customers have been notified about the potential relocation through a postcard in the mail and will have the opportunity to provide comments regarding the proposal.

We are inviting customers to send their comments on the proposal to the following address.  Comments must be received by May 2, 2026.

After the comment period, the Postal Service will consider the comments received.  Following that consideration, the Postal Service will make a final decision to proceed with, modify, or cancel the proposal.
