Marathon Postmaster Shaneka Small and Manager, Post Office Operations Juan Febres invite Keys residents to a “meet and greet” at the Marathon Job Fair on Wednesday, April 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The postal duo will be at the Marathon Post Office, 5171 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050, to assist job seekers with applications for delivery positions in Key Largo, Marathon, Summerland, and Tavernier. Light refreshments will satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst as you apply for one or more delivery jobs.
Islamorada, Key Largo, Marathon, Summerland, and Tavernier: Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)
An RCA delivers and collects packages along routes in rural areas during weekdays, weekends, and holidays. This employee also provides a variety of services to customers along their assigned route. The position may require the use of a personal vehicle if a postal vehicle is not provided. An RCA may be eligible to receive health benefits and promotion to a career opportunity. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy staying active and working independently outdoors with occasional customer service interactions.
Key Largo and Tavernier: Assistant Rural Carrier (ARC)
An ARC primarily delivers and collects packages along a designated route in suburban and rural areas. This employee may be required to provide a personal vehicle to use for mail and package delivery on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (a weekend and holiday only position). This employee may provide package delivery up to seven days a week.
