North Highland Post Office Closed Due to Safety Concerns

Atlanta’s North Highland Post Office Closed
Wind causes structural damage; safety concerns

ATLANTA  — The North Highland Post Office, located at 1190 N. Highland Ave. NE, will be closed until further notice due to structural damage caused by high winds. Mail deliveries will continue as normal.

All retail operations and PO Box service at the North Highland Post Office have been relocated to the Ralph McGill Post Office, located at 822 Ralph McGill Blvd. NE, Atlanta, GA  30306.

Retail services are also available at the following nearby Atlanta Post Offices:

  • Little Five Points Post Office, 455 Moreland Ave. NE 30307
  • Civic Center Post Office, 570 Piedmont Ave. NE, 30308
  • Midtown Post Office, 1072 W. Peachtree St. NW, 30309
  • Phoenix Post Office, 41 Marietta St. NW, 30303.

Customers may purchase stamps and other philatelic products through The Postal Store at usps.com/shop, by calling 800-STAMP24 (800-782-6724), by mail through USA Philatelic or at Post Office locations nationwide.

Most postal products and services are available at www.usps.com. There customers can look up a ZIP Code, track a package, buy stamps, request to hold mail, print postage online, submit a change of address, schedule a package pickup and find the location of other nearby Post Offices.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
