Skip the Trip in Line Self-Service Kiosk LIVE Demo

Avoid the crowd with 24/7 access and the ultimate in convenience

What:

A USPS retail associate Aqua Gunn will demonstrate the Self-Service Kiosk (SSK) at the Duluth L&PC and answer questions about how to save time this holiday season. The associate will demonstrate the SSK, which allows customers to purchase stamps and weigh and mail cards and packages 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Other questions such as mailing deadlines, ship from home alternatives and packaging tips will be answered by Officer in Charge, Nicholas Edleman.

2024 USPS Holiday Shipping and Mailing Deadlines

The information below covers domestic, international and military shipping destinations to allow for the timely delivery of cards, letters and packages by Dec. 25th.

Items Sent to Addresses in the Contiguous United States (Lower 48 States):

  • First-Class Mail service: Dec. 18
  • Priority Mail service: Dec. 19
  • Priority Mail Express service: Dec. 21

Items Sent to Addresses in Alaska and Hawaii:

  • USPS Ground Advantage service: Dec. 16
  • First-Class Mail service: Dec. 18
  • Priority Mail service: Dec. 19
  • Priority Mail Express service: Dec. 20

USPS Is Ready for the Peak Shipping Season

An option this year is USPS Ground Advantage, a service that provides a simple, reliable and affordable way to ship packages with day certain delivery of  2-5 business days based on distance.

In addition to our convenient retail locations, customers can purchase their shipping labels, order Priority Mail packaging and schedule free carrier pick up via the Postal Service’s shipping platform  Click-N-Ship . Customers using the platform will have access to Commercial Shipping Rates that will apply to all domestic package labels — making it easier for customers to ship their packages.

The Postal Service is built for the holidays, serving 169 million addresses across the country and covering every state, city and town. Everyone living in the United States and its territories has access to postal products and services.
