CANTON, GA — The U.S. Postal Service recently swore in Rickey Coker as the Postmaster for Canton. The swearing-in of Postmaster Coker marks the next chapter for the Canton Post Office under the Delivering for America plan.

“I am honored with the opportunity to serve the Canton community as our next postmaster,” Coker said. “I look forward to working with our dedicated employees who work diligently to deliver the mail across our community six days a week.”

Postmaster Coker’s swearing-in ceremony occurred on May 31 at Cherokee Veteran Park Victory Hall, with USPS Manager Post Office Operations, Christopher Cisco administering the oath of office.

Coker brings significant experience to the role of postmaster. “I possess 29 years of experience in customer service and postal operations, with 13 of those years dedicated to management roles within the Canton community,” he said.
