Immediate Openings for Electronic Technicians and Automotive
GEORGIA — The United States Postal Service is seeking motivated individuals to fill immediate openings for the positions of Electronic Technician and Automotive Technician.The Postal Service offers competitive wages, benefits, and career advancement opportunities.
The job fair will be a walk-in event from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, Postal Service personnel will be on-hand to assist with benefit, qualification, and application questions.

Available Positions:
Electronic Technician (ET) – With a starting salary of $76,135 paid bi-weekly, an ET will independently perform the full range of diagnostic, preventive maintenance, alignment and calibration, and overhaul tasks, on both hardware and software on a variety of mail processing, customer service, and building equipment and systems, applying advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems. Applicants must successfully complete Postal Service Test 955, for the Electronics Technician job group, which measures
maintenance knowledge, skills and abilities.
Automotive Technician (AT) – With a starting salary of $64,882 paid bi-weekly, an AT will perform routine and complex repairs and maintenance on all types of motor vehicles used in the postal fleet; troubleshoots and diagnoses more complex vehicle malfunctions using a variety of computerized test equipment; may provide assistance to lower-level employees. Applicants must successfully complete Postal Service Test 943 and Test 944, to demonstrate their knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and make minor and major repairs to automotive systems.
