Background:

Dana Jones began her journey with the postal service in 1997, stepping into her role as a Part-Time Flexible Clerk at the North Metro Local Processing Center, previously known as the North Metro Processing and Distribution Center. Jones demonstrated the ability to connect with customers and understand their needs. Over the years, Jones embraced a range of responsibilities including serving as a facilitator where she took on the task of training new Sales and Service Associates.

In 2010, Jones was promoted to Supervisor Customer Service, at the Tucker Post Office and was later promoted to Manager of Customer Service, at Peachtree City Post Office. As Jones continued in her postal career during her 27 years tenure, she was promoted to several management positions and detailed as the Officer in Charge for the Jonesboro, Jackson and Fayetteville Post Offices.

Dana Jones is a proud veteran of the United States Army, an experience that has instilled in her a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
