NEWNAN, GA — The U.S. Postal Service will host an in-person hiring fair Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, to fill career vacancies for Mail Handler Assistant positions. USPS is seeking dedicated, motivated individuals to support its mission of serving the community.

We are currently hiring Mail Handler Assistant who will be based at the main processing facility in Palmetto, Georgia. Duties and responsibilities include:

Mail Handler Assistant (MHA) - $19.02 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
Loads, unloads, and moves bulk mail and performs other duties incidental to the movement and processing of mail.
