HONOLULU — Valentine’s Day is a reminder that the most meaningful messages are often the simplest ones. The U.S. Postal Service is encouraging customers to consider mailing a Valentine’s Day card or letter using our new Love Forever® stamp via First-Class Mail, a reliable and affordable way to send something personal.

Across the country, USPS has made recent upgrades to improve the customer experience — including more convenient ways to buy postage, find information, and get in and out quickly at many locations. Many Post Office locations also carry greeting cards, so customers can pick one up and mail it in the same stop.

• Mail early: Send cards and letters a few days ahead to allow for processing and local delivery.
• Use the right postage: Make sure envelopes are properly addressed and have enough postage.
• Find the best option fast: Use usps.com to check retail hours, find locations, and get service information.
• Track what’s coming to you: Customers can preview incoming mail with Informed Delivery (where available).
• Skip the line when possible: Many locations offer self-service options, and customers can also buy postage online.
