USPS Considering Relocation of Kamuela Post Office

Officials Will Discuss the Process at Apr. 4 Waimea Community Association Mtg

Honolulu – The United States Postal Service is considering the relocation of services from the Kamuela Post Office located at 67-1197 Mamalahoa Highway, Kamuela, HI 96743.

The goal of the proposed relocation, to another location in the same community, is to move to a site that provides better access and better meets the overall needs of Kamuela’s postal customers.

Postal Service officials will appear at the April meeting of the Waimea Community Association to discuss the possible relocation. The meeting is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Waimea Elementary School, 67-1225 Mamalahoa Highway, Kamuela, HI 96743.

The public will have 30 days after the meeting to submit written comments for the Postal Service’s consideration prior to its final decision. Please submit written comments to:
