This is the first-ever USPS Passport Fair held at a state library.
Who:
U.S. Postal Service & Honolulu Passport Agency
When:
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020
Where:
Kailua Public Library
239 Kuulei Road
Kailua HI 96734
Background:
“We want to make the process of applying for new passports easy for Windward Oahu residents,” said USPS Marketing Manager Grant Nakashima. “A lot of people don’t have the time during the week to drive all the way into Honolulu to submit their passport applications. We’re happy to leverage the convenience of the Postal Service to help our customers apply for new passports prior to the busy summer travel season.”
Advance registration is required, and limited. Register at https://kailuapassportfair1.eventbrite.com. Walk-in customers will be accommodated as time permits.
For information on new passport application requirements, forms and fees, go to www.travel.state.gov or call the toll-free National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778.
The Passport Agency reminds travelers to submit their passport applications as early as possible, far in advance of planned travel to avoid problems with receiving their passports.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
