Interview & B-Roll of Mail Carrier Delivering in Kaimuki During Busiest Week
What:
Local media are invited to join a USPS mail carrier on her route in a Kaimuki neighborhood as she delivers mail and Christmas packages to her customers during her busiest week of the year.
Media will have the opportunity to interview the carrier and some of her customers, and to shoot b-roll of her making her deliveries.
“Delivering mail and packages this time of year makes me feel like Santa. said USPS Mail Carrier Kristian Lutu. “Our customers make me feel so appreciated. And I’m glad to be able to do my part to deliver to them a happy holiday!”

Background:
The U.S Postal Service is “holiday ready” to delivery Christmas joy to every address in Honolulu and across the state.
Across the country, USPS added new state-of-the-art package processing machines, hired 7,500 seasonal employees and adjusted and expanded its transportation network in order to meet the surge in packages that it has seen between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
