KAUA’I — The U.S. Postal Service installed three postmasters to Kaua’i Post Offices in July. Keleen, Na-o, Anahola, David Gillespie, Kalaheo, and Travis Pement, Kilauea, were inducted in ceremonies led by Hawaii District Manager Eileen Veach at their respective offices.  

As the Postal Services celebrates 250 years of delivering mail and packages, we celebrate the great work our postmasters are doing in their communities to continue ensuring mail and packages are delivered efficiently to Kaua’i customers.

Anahola – Postmaster Keleen Na-o started her postal career in 2014 as a clerk at the Kapa’a Post Office where she served for nine years. She transferred to Anahola in 2023 and is now proud to continue serving the community as its Postmaster.

“It means a lot to me to be the new postmaster for Anahola. My roots started in this town and now have the privilege to give back to my community,” Na-o said. “The Anahola community, as well as my wonderful clerks, has welcomed me with open arms as we embrace the start of a wonderful new career ahead.”

Anahola Post Office is located at 4-4350 Kuhio Hwy, Anahola. Hours or operation are Monday – Friday: 10:00 am – 1:30 pm; 2:00 pm -3:30 pm. Saturday: 9:30 am – 11:30 am. Closed Sunday.

Kalaheo – Postmaster David Gillespie brings a strong background of postal experience to his new position in Kalaheo. He has served as clerk, letter carrier, mail processing clerk, supervisor, and Officer in Charge in a variety of facilities on the mainland.

He transferred to the Kilauea Post Office as a clerk in 2023. In 2024, he was promoted to Postmaster Relief in Kilauea and was promoted earlier this year to his current position.

Kalaheo Post Office is located at 4489 Papalina Rd., Kalaheo. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Saturday: 9:00 am – 11:30 am. Closed Sunday.

Kilauea – Postmaster Travis Pement began his postal career as a clerk on the mainland in 2018 and promoted to supervisor in 2023.

Travis oversees 11 employees with five delivery routes and 1,800 PO Boxes to serve Kilauea. He is looking forward to serving the community and working with his customers.

Kilauea Post Office is located at 2585 Ala Namahana Parkway, Kilauea. Hours are Monday – Friday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Saturday: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Closed Sunday.
