USPS is Hiring for the Holidays

Seeking Holiday Clerk and Carrier Assistants throughout Hawai’i

The green and bright holiday season is on its way, and the Postal Service is looking for holiday clerk and carrier assistants to help sort and deliver mail and packages. We are looking to fill nearly 80 temporary holiday positions with eager elves in post offices throughout Hawai’i.

  • O’ahu: Clerk Assistants at Post Offices in Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Kailua, Kaneohe, Pearl City, Wahiawa, and Waipahu
  • Kaua’i: Clerk and Carrier Assistants at Kapa’a and Lihue Post Offices
  • Maui: Clerk Assistants at Kahului and Lahaina Post Offices
  • Hawai’i: Clerk Assistants at Kamuela and Kailua-Kona Post Offices and Clerk and Carrier Assistants at Hilo Post Office

These assignments will be from Nov. 15 to Dec. 26. Pay is $20.59 per hour (+ COLA).

  • Holiday Clerk Assistant duties include sorting and distributing mail and packages within a post office.
  • Holiday Carrier Assistant duties include delivering and collecting mail and packages.
