MARTINSBURG, IA — Effective November 24, 2018, retail and Post Office Box operations will resume in Martinsburg, IA at its new Post Office location of 605 Main Street.  PO Box customers may once again retrieve their mail from their originally assigned PO Box on that date after turning in their temporary Cluster Box Unit (CBU) keys and picking up their new PO Box keys.  CBU keys must be turned in by December 10th.

The Martinsburg Post Office was temporarily closed several years ago due to safety concerns caused from structural issues while a new location was sought and built.

The Martinsburg Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Post Office Box lobby is open 24 hours. 

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
