CLINTON, IA — The Postal Service will resume Retail and PO Box services at the Lyons Postal Station located at 97 Main Avenue in Clinton, IA effective Tuesday, January 22, 2019. 

Retail Window hours will be Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  The PO Box lobby will be open 24 hours.

The Lyons Station was emergency suspended in October 2014 due to a structural collapse caused from a nearby storm water separation project.

PO Box customers wishing to reactivate their previously assigned Lyons PO Box numbers should fill out a new PO Box application and pay the current box rental rate at the Lyons Station in addition to returning their current Clinton PO Box keys to the Clinton Post Office.  Please visit the Lyons Station or Clinton Post Office for more information and assistance.

A customer appreciation event will be planned and announced at a later date.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
