DAVENPORT, IA – The Davenport Main Post Office located at 933 W 2nd Street will resume full operations on Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

Postal services were temporarily relocated to the Davenport Northwest Station on May 1st due to flooding in the area.  The building has been cleared for reoccupancy and we are excited to return.

After 12:00PM today, all PO Box and hold mail items will be relocated back to the Davenport Main Office and available for pickup on Tuesday morning.

The Davenport Main Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The Post Office Box lobby is open 24 hours.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
