BURLINGTON, IA – With Mississippi River water encroachment, the Burlington Post Office located at 300 N Main Street is temporarily relocating its retail operations to ensure we continue providing uninterrupted service to our customers.
Effective Monday, June 3, 2019, Burlington retail operations will be moved to the West Burlington Post Office located at 201 Broadway Street, West Burlington, IA 52655. Retail hours at the West Burlington facility are:
8:30AM – 5:00PM M-F
9:00AM – 11:00AM Sat
Post Office Box and Notice Left mail and packages may still be picked up at the Burlington Post Office from the blue Dutch door during the hours of 8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday through Friday and 9:30AM – 12:00PM on Saturday. Business Mail Entry customers may also continue dropping bulk mail at the Burlington facility.
If the Burlington Post Office experiences water intrusion, alternate plans are in place to ensure uninterrupted service. A notification outlining our contingency plan will be sent immediately should that event occur.
The Postal Service apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this unfortunate weather event.
