DAVENPORT, IA — The Davenport Main Post Office located at 933 W 2nd Street will resume full retail operating hours on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.

Retail hours were temporarily reduced on May 31st due to flooding in the area.  The flooding has receded and cleanup has been completed allowing for normal operations to resume.

The Davenport Main Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The Post Office Box lobby is open 24 hours.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
