New Facility Brings Back Postal Presence
VARINA, IA — The Varina Post Office will resume full operations on Monday, September 9, 2019 at its new location 205 Main Street.
Catastrophic tornado damage caused postal services to be temporarily relocated to Fonda, IA in April 2011 while alternate quarters were sought. The new building is ready for occupancy and we are excited to return to the community.
The Varina Post Office is open Monday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Post Office Box lobby is open 24 hours.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
