CHESTER, IA – Due to building safety and health concerns, the Chester Post Office located at 205 Main St is temporarily relocating its retail and Post Office Box operations to ensure we continue providing uninterrupted service to our customers.

Effective Saturday, October 5, 2019, Chester retail and Post Office Box operations will be moved to the Lime Springs Post Office located at 108 W Main St, Lime Springs, IA.  Retail hours at the Lime Springs facility are:

  7:30AM – 11:30AM and 1:00PM – 3:00PM   M-F 

Street Delivery and Post Office Box notice left items may be picked up at the Lime Springs Post Office with proper photo identification.

Cluster Box Units (CBUs) will be placed in the Chester community next week for PO Box customers.  Keys may be picked up at the Lime Springs office.  There will be no change to Chester PO Box customers’ address.

Retail services are also available at the Cresto Post Office located at 300 S Elm St during the hours of:

  8:30AM – 4:30AM   M-F 

It is unknown when services will resume at the Chester facility at this time.
