STORM LAKE, IA – Effective November 14, 2019, the Storm Lake Post Office located at 509 Cayuga Street in Storm Lake, Iowa resumed Post Office Box and Retail Services.  The facility was temporarily closed due to a vehicle running into the building on Sunday evening.  The Post Office has been deemed structurally sound and is cleared for reoccupancy.

We apologize for the disruption caused by this issue and look forward to serving our customers again.

Retail hours at the Storm Lake facility are 9:00 AM – 4:45 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday.  The PO Box lobby is open 24 hours. 

Retail services are also available online 24/7 including weekends and holidays at usps.com.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
