The U.S. Postal Service sent postcards for the Viola ID Post Office formerly located at 1300 S Main St, 83872.  

Background:

The Postal Service is now looking for a new retail space for the former Viola Post Office to a yet-to-be-determined location within the zip codes of 83872. The desired size of the new facility lot needs to be approximately 7,000 to 9,000  square feet.

The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the previous location. Retail Services will continue at the Moscow location until all necessary preparations are completed at the new location.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, instead of a public meeting, we are inviting you to send your comments on the proposal to the following address within the next 30 days to: United States Postal Service, Attn Viola, ID Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.   

The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
