Wildfire Causes Temporary Closures of Juliaetta, Idaho Post Office

Customers Can Pick Up Mail at Neighboring Retail Office

The Gwen Fire affecting Nez Perce and Latah Counties in Idaho have caused the temporary closure of the Juliaetta Post Office location.

All mail and retail service operations for the Juliaetta Post Office have been moved to the Kendrick Post Office, located at 703 E Main St., Kendrick, and customers can pick up their mail at this location until further notice.

The Kendrick Post Office is open for retail operations, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m., and Saturday 8:45 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

Customers are reminded to bring a proper photo ID in order to make mail and package pickups.

Retail services, such as temporary mail forwarding — if needed — or stamps, can be found at the Kendrick Post Office location. And many services are also available online at usps.com.

We apologize for this inconvenience to our customers and plan to have the Juliaetta Post Office reopened and fully operational as soon as it is safe to do so.
