Hull and Fults Post Offices temporarily closed

Mail services will be rerouted to nearby postal facilities

IL — The Mississippi River and its tributaries are again rising above major flood stage as the rains continue in the area.  The USPS Gateway District is enacting the relocation for offices due to the rising waters.  More offices are expected to be relocated today and over the next few days.

Out of concern for the safety and well-being of our employees and postal customers, due to the extreme danger the weather is causing the following Post Offices will be temporarily closed.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers.    

The Hull Post Office Hull, IL 62343 has been relocated to:
Payson Post Office
206 N Main
Payson IL  62360
Mon – Fri 7:45 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 pm to 2:45pm CST
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. CST

The Fults Post Office Fults IL 62244 has been relocated to:
Waterloo Post Office
305 E Third Street
Waterloo, IL 62298
Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  CST
Saturday  8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST

The Post Office is always open at www.usps.com.  The Postal Service’s smartphone app makes it even quicker to use the most popular functions on usps.com, anytime and anywhere.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
