CHICAGO — It’s a rare occurrence, about once every 100 years when the ZIP Code matches the date.  That is the case tomorrow when the date of 6/06/19 aligns with the James E. Worsham Station ZIP Code of 60619.  The James E. Worsham station is located at 7715 S. Cottage Grove Ave.

The postal station will be celebrating in their lobby from 10 am until noon with popcorn and other refreshments for customers.   The station will also have a special pictorial cancellation envelope available in the lobby for customers.

“We thought this would be fun to share this with our customers to show our appreciation to them and to also tell them about our newest programs and services such as Informed Delivery, where customers can see images of their mailpieces they will be receiving in the mail that day,” said Juanita Flowers, Manager Customer Service.  

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
