Chicago, IL — The U.S. Postal Service will be hiring employees in the coming months for temporary and career positions to work at one of the mail processing facilities in the Chicago area or a delivery unit.

Holiday openings include Mail Handler Assistant (MHA) at $16 an hour, Postal Support Employee (PSE) & Sales & Services/Distribution Associate at 17.19 an hour and City Carrier Assistant (CCA) at $17.29 per hour.

To be considered for the positions you must meet the following requirements:

• 18 years old at the time of appointment or 16 years of age with a high school diploma
• United States citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory
• Recent employment history
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and medical assessment
• Safe driving record (if applicable to the position)
