The Power of Political Mail

Postal Service hosts workshops

Central & Downstate Illinois – The United States Postal Service, in partnership with the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC), invites interested parties to special workshops held in Bedford Park and Springfield Illinois, in advance of the political mailing season. Political mail customers including mail service providers, political mail consultants, and campaign managers are encouraged to attend.

Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to speak with Donald Nichols, National Lead for USPS Political Mail Outreach, as well as national and state political mail strategists and postal operations leadership. There is no charge to attend either workshop. Refreshments will be provided.

At the workshops, the Postal Service will:

  • Discuss challenges and opportunities facing political mail, including updates on improvements to notifications and responding to inquiries.
  • Assign a Postal Service political mail strategist to your campaign/organization (if one not already assigned).
  • Showcase insights from its newly released whitepaper and share creative and innovative ways mail is designed and integrated into campaigns.
  • Highlight the newest guidelines on Red Tagging Political Mail (Tag 57).
  • Share the latest innovations from the Postal Service:
    • Informed Visibility®
    • Informed Delivery®

Please RSVP and direct any questions to PoliticalMail@USPS.GOV
