CHICAGO, IL — The U.S. Postal Service is accepting applications for career positions of Automotive Technician and Garage Assistant in Chicago.

Automotive Technician positions begin at $46,394 per year.  Garage Assistants begin at $40,959 per year.

To be considered for the positions you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
• Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
• Must pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
• Must qualify on the assessment test and have a good driving record.
