Oak Brook Post Office Celebrating ZIP Code™ Day, Monday, June 5

CHICAGO IL — It’s a rare occurrence, about once every 100 years when the ZIP Code™ matches the date. That is the case Monday, when the date of 6/05/23 aligns with the Oak Brook Post Office ZIP Code™ of 60523.

The Oak Brook Post Office is located at 1314 Kensington Rd. Oak Brook is celebrating in their lobby from 10 a.m. to Noon with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, balloons and refreshments for customers.

Information will also be available for customers to learn how to Grow Their Business using the mail and information on postal jobs available.

Oak Brook Postmaster Jose Hernandez said, “This will be the day that Date Meets Zip for Oak Brook 60523.”  Hernandez said that with the purchase of a Stamp customers receive a postcard with a Date Meets Zip cancelation.
