Act of Congress designates facility as “Sgt. Jeremy C. Sherman Post Office Building.”

The Watseka IL Post Office, 60970 will have its building named in honor of Army Sergeant Jeremy C. Sherman at a ceremony, Monday, October 30 at 10 a.m. The program is open to the public.
Who:
On December 29, 2022, legislation to designate the Post Office building located at 101 West Walnut Street in Watseka, Illinois, as the Sgt. Jeremy C. Sherman Post Office Building was signed into law by the President. This legislation was introduced in the United States House of Representatives by Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
Joining Congresswoman, Robin L. Kelly and the Sherman family at the ceremony, will be USPS Manager of Post Office Operations, Towanna Murphy, John Allhands, Mayor of Watseka, and Bernice Joseph, USPS Manager of Customer Relations.
