INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The U.S. Postal Service has suspended retail operations at the Buck Creek Post Office, 7424 Railroad St., Buck Creek, IN, 47924 out of an abundance of caution to employees and customers to eliminate any safety and health concerns.
Customers with a Neighborhood Delivery and Collection Box Unit (NDCBU) located outside the Buck Creek Post Office building can continue to pick-up mail from the same location. Customers will need to pick-up any accountable item that requires a signature at the Battle Ground Post Office, 107 North St, Battle Ground, IN 47920, which is approximately 5 miles away.
Hours at the Battle Ground Post Office are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
“The safety of our employees and customers is our top priority,” said Keith Blane, manager post office operations. “Retail service will resume once environmental testing has confirmed that it is safe and reasonable to do so.”
