EVANSVILLE, IN — Everything old is new again, as the saying goes.

The Evansville Diamond Valley Post Office, located at 600 Cross Valley Circle, has opened an old, unused drive-thru window to offer an alternative for customers who do not wish leave their vehicle to access postal products and services.

“Our team worked hard to make the window operational again so we could provide this convenience. Keeping our employees and customers safe is our primary concern,” said Postmaster Steve Risewick.

The drive-thru window will operate during regular retail hours at the Diamond Valley Post Office. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Kentuckiana District serves ZIP Codes 400-409, 411-427 in Kentucky and 471, 476-477 in southern Indiana.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
