Proposed Relocation of Whitestown, IN, MPO Post Office

What:

The U.S. Postal Service will mail a postcard to the impacted community, announcing a proposed relocation of the Whitestown, IN Main Post Office located at 110 Porter Avenue, Whitestown, IN 46075. The postcard provides information about the public comment period.

Background:

Due to severe space deficiency at the current location, the Postal Service is now looking for a new retail location within the 46075 ZIP Code. The desired size of the new facility needs to be an existing building, approximately 5,000 square feet, with dedicated parking for 30 vehicles. The relocation project will consist of procuring a suitable substitute location, as close as reasonably possible to the existing location.

We are inviting comments on the proposal and request they be sent to the following address within 45 days from delivery of the postcard: United States Postal Service, ATTN: Whitestown, IN, MPO Relocation, PO BOX 27497, Greensboro, NC 27498-1103.
