Clear Creek Post Office Temporarily Closed

USPS offers alternate location for mail pickup and retail operations

CLEAR CREEK, IN – Due to damage sustained during a tornado on May 16, the Postal Service will suspend operations at the Clear Creek Post Office, 4888 S Rogers St., 47426, until further notice.

Clear Creek customers may access P.O. Box mail and obtain retail services at the Smithville Post Office, located at 7390 S Strain Ridge Rd., Smithville, 47458. During the period when Smithville will serve Clear Creek customers, the Smithville Post Office hours will operate Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Smithville Post Office is 3.3 miles from the Clear Creek Post Office location.

Street delivery to Clear Creek addresses will not be affected.

Currently, there is no information on a reopening date for the Clear Creek Post Office.
